Mrs. Chance's Class

Welcome to Kindergarten!
This year, your child will learn the phonics and phonemic awareness skills necessary for reading and spelling. Your child will also learn mathematic skills that range from basic numeracy to addition and subtraction.

Your child will have a binder that he or she takes home every night. In this binder, you will find skill sheets to review with your child. Please make sure that you help your child with these skill sheets as much as possible to ensure their success in kindergarten. We will also send homework and important papers each week, so be sure to check the binder each night.

In order to stay in touch with me and keep up with important information, I recommend signing up for Remind101. To do so, text @64e67f to 81010.
