Scholarships and Financial Aid

Mississippi Association of Supervisors is no accepting applications for the 2019 MAS County Employee Scholarship Program.  MAS will award two $500 scholarships per county.  Applicants must have an immediate family member (parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, or legal guardian) currently working for or retired from a Mississippi county to be eligible to apply.  "County employee" means any person working directly for the county government (not a school district).  

       - This is a grant for FULL TUITION to a Mississippi public  community college or university if you meet the requirements/qualifications.   Click the link to read about it.  Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors, if you will meet the income limitations, make sure you're taking the correct classes listed on the curriculum requirements.  

    - MTAG awards up to $500 per academic year during the freshman and sophomore years of college and $1,000 during the junior and senior years.  There is no income limitation/requirement. 

    - MESG awards up to $2,500 per academic year for students who have made a 29 or higher on the ACT. 

    - This scholarship, sponsored by the Nissan Company, covers full tuition and provides additional funds for books and fees.  The ACT requirement is a 20; the GPA requirement is 2.5.  It also requires an essay and evidence of extracurricular activities.  Click the link for more information.
